When a guy has a crush on you, there is usually a marked change in his personality. These changes show up in how he acts around you and even in the way he speaks. He begins to say some words more, emphasizing certain phrases. Here are words a guy is most likely to say more when he has a crush on you.
1. Would you like to?
When guys have a crush on a woman, they begin to care so much about what she thinks, what she likes and does not like. They become rather suggestive more than they’re assertive. This is especially true if it is still just a crush.
A guy who is crushing on you will say the words “Would you like to…” quite a lot.
At some point, you may even begin to feel weird about him saying it. This is true if you like him too.

2. I think you should
If he is always suggesting things to you, then he wants something: he wants you to improve.
The truth is, one of the very big signs a guy has a crush on you is a big desire for you to make all-around improvements in your life.
When you talk to him, for example, he is going to listen very keenly and attempt to provide a solution to what you feel.
This will make him say the words: “I think you should…” quite a lot.
He will say it whenever you have a heartfelt conversation. I know so because I have been that guy before. I never knew I had been saying that word so much until my partner laughed about it someday.
It is usually always:
- I think you should go ahead and get yourself that car you have always wanted.
- I think you should become even better than you have always been.
- I think you should allow yourself to do this or do that.
On and on and on.

3. You know I like/love how
A guy who has a crush on you will never run out of things to like about you. You can trust me on this one. He will likeyour smile. He will like the way you talk. He will like even the most random things about you, things that make you shrink back and ask yourself: “Am I really this beautiful?”
Well, to him, you are.
The guy with a crush will always have the words; “You know I like…” on his lips whenever you both talk.
It may show up in simple conversations or in more serious moments.
Expect him to say something along the lines of:
- You know I like the way you look at me like, at that moment, no one else really matters?
- You know I like the sound of your voice over the phone when we talk. It almost reminds me of those moments when…
If all he likes about you is tied to a memory he holds on dearly to, then there is a big chance that he has such a big crush on you.
4. Do you need a hug?
This one is one of the oldest in the books. I have not met a guy who didn’t try to establish physical contact with a girl he likes. It just doesn’t happen.
And so if a guy has a crush on you, he will be open to the idea of touching you. This will make him say things that make touching possible.
There are a lot of things to say that make him touch you, but none as innocent as: “Do you need a hug?”
He knows that saying this to you will not raise any defenses. He knows that you will not look at him as some creep or something and that you will enjoy his company.
When you tell him about your sadness, he is going to ask if he can hug you. When you tell him about your shivering in the cold, he is going to ask to hug you.
It just never ends. He will want to have physical contact because in his head, he imagines you to be his woman.

5. I wish I was there
He is going to wish he was there with you whenever you both talk over the phone. This is one of the easiest ways to spot a crush you are very far away from.
Say you talk about something over the phone; a guy who does not have a crush on you may just say: “You must have had fun, then.”
But the one who has a crush on you will say something along the lines of: “I truly wish I had been there with you to experience this.”
6. “Us,” “We”
A guy who has a crush on you will often refer to what you both share using possessive third-person pronouns.
You will hear the word “our” a lot in your interactions with him.
“I wish someone else could have a friendship like “ours.””
You know, something of the sort.
It is even more obvious if he tends to use this word a lot when you both are with people. Guys like to show off women they consider very exceptionally beautiful.
And trust me, every man considers his crush exceptionally beautiful.
